What happened

Harry Styles played the last of 30 shows at Madison Square Garden on Saturday, October 31, bringing his Together, Together residency in New York to an end, Rolling Stone, Variety and Billboard reported. The final weekend took the form of two Halloween concerts that Styles and his fans call "Harryween."

During the closing show, New York Knicks captain Jalen Brunson walked on stage to hand Styles a banner commemorating the run, and the two shared a hug, Rolling Stone reported. Billboard said the Garden raised the banner to the arena's rafters. Brunson told the crowd he wanted to return a favor: Variety quoted him as saying Styles had joined him and his team a few weeks earlier on the Knicks' own banner night. Consequence reported that the moment brought Styles to tears.

Billboard described Brunson as the 2026 NBA Finals MVP, and Variety called the Knicks the world champions.

Elvis, Pizza Rat and "Psycho Killer"

The two Harryween nights leaned on costumes. On Friday, Styles opened as a 1970s-era Elvis Presley while his band dressed as versions of Styles himself, in outfits based on his Coachella, Met Gala and Grammy appearances, Variety reported. For the encore he changed into the clothes he wore at his 2010 X Factor audition and sang Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely," the song he used to audition for the show.

Saturday's show was built as a tribute to New York. Variety said the band appeared as local figures such as the Statue of Liberty, Andy Warhol and Anna Wintour, and Billboard mentioned a hot dog and a taxi cab. Styles came out as Pizza Rat, a nod to a viral 2015 video of a rat hauling a slice of pizza down subway stairs. Billboard described a furry brown onesie with pink ears, a tail and a giant foam slice.

Later in the 22-song set, Styles covered Talking Heads' "Psycho Killer," Consequence reported, by then wearing a pared-down version of the costume with a shirt that read "I AM A RAT."

A long stay in New York

Styles had played the Garden every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday for weeks. Rolling Stone and Billboard described it as a 10-week residency, while Variety called it a nine-week block. The shows supported his fourth solo album, "Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.," which Billboard said debuted at No. 1 in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

Billboard reported that the Garden also opened a new exhibit on its sixth floor with memorabilia from the residency. Variety noted that tour sponsor American Express ran pop-up shops across lower Manhattan for the full run. It is not his first honor at the venue: Rolling Stone recalled that Styles received a banner after a 15-night stand there in 2022.

Closing the final show, Styles thanked the crowd for coming and for dressing up. "You've changed my life over and over again," he said, according to Variety.

What comes next

The tour does not stop here. Variety reported that Styles will play his last shows of the year in Australia later this month. Billboard said a 25-date extension starts April 2, 2027, in Phoenix, with a European leg from July 2 in Berlin, and that the tour ends on August 28 with the third of three nights at London's Wembley Stadium.
